Our Story
Some of my earliest memories are of my mom sewing, a skill she lovingly passed on to each of her six daughters. For me, this skill blossomed into a passion. Since I was 13 years old, I have completed many projects, each bringing great joy as I stitched ideas into reality. As a working mom, my limited time was dedicated to creating occasional custom quilts that celebrated milestones like weddings, anniversaries, graduations, and sports. Now that my kids are older, I would love to help you celebrate cherished moments with a personalized keepsake, such as a Forever Quilt!
Our Philosophy
At Forever Quilted, we believe that memories should not be tucked away on a shelf or in a seldom-opened box. With thoughtful designs, our custom quilts transform the materials and moments of the formative past into beautiful touchstones in daily life. Whether it's through the creativity of memorial quilts or personalized keepsakes, we bring warmth and meaning to your cherished memories.
Our Process
Every Forever Quilt is as unique as your memories, making the design process essential for creating custom quilts that truly reflect your story. I begin by listening intently to your narrative and aspirations for the project. As you gather the memory materials—such as t-shirts, photos, patches, badges, and fabrics—I will develop a couple of overall aesthetic and color palette options for your personalized quilt. The quilt may celebrate milestones like weddings, anniversaries, graduations, sports, or more. Or may be a bereavement quilt designed to offer comfort for the loss of a loved one.
Investment
Once we have aligned on a design plan for your custom quilts, materials will be purchased and the sewing process will begin. Your custom, keepsake quilt will be finished within 8-12 weeks. Investment varies by quilt size and includes all fabrics, batting, and sewing supplies, final machine quilting, and time:
Throw size (roughly 60"x72") = $500-$600
Twin size (roughly 72"x96") = $700-$800
Queen size (roughly 100"x100") = $900-$1000
