About Forever Quilted
Our Story
Some of my earliest memories are of my mom sewing. She passed the skill onto all six of her daughters, but for this daughter, it also became a passion. I have designed and sewn since I was 13 years old, some projects more successful than others, but always with great joy for designing and stitching ideas into reality. Once I became a working mom of three, my much more limited time was dedicated to quilting to memorialize events and milestones; Weddings, Wedding Anniversaries, Graduations, Achievements in Sports, etc. Now that my kids are older, I have time and would love to help you memorialize your cherished moments with a Forever Quilt!
Our Philosophy
At Forever Quilted, we believe memories do not belong on a shelf or in a box seldom opened. With thoughtful designs, the materials and moments of the formative past can become beautiful touchstones in daily life through the creativity and warmth of quilts and quilted keepsakes.
Our Process
Every Forever Quilt is as unique as your memories, so the design process starts with listening intently to your story and hopes for the project. Then as you gather the memory materials to be included in the quilt (t-shirts, photos, patches/badges, fabrics, etc.), I will develop a couple of overall aesthetic and color pallet options for consideration. Once we have aligned on a design plan, quilting will begin and be finished within 6-8 weeks.
